If you are thinking about subway of St. Petersburg only as a mean of transport, you are a little bit wrong – that the space is created to be a true work of art that could show the beauty and greatness of the country. Going from station to station you can see marble of different kinds and colors, fabulous mosaics, sculptures, startling chandeliers, informational (for learning Russian history) bas reliefs. You will be amazed checking out the stations mentioned in a Regional Heritage list.
Here are the stations with the correct and practical order of viewing. The tour will take approximately an hour- hour and a half.
